Iroquois stickmaker Alf Jacques from Onondaga Nation
Met Alf Jacques who is a third generation stickmaker from the Onondaga Nation near Syracuse.
Author Michael Philion attended the US Lacrosse National Coaches' Convention in Baltimore, MD on Martin Luther King weekend. Baggattaway was well promoted and many new contacts were established. This convention is the unofficial launch of lacrosse 2010 season. In July the world cup will be played in Manchester, England, with over 30 nations competing.

Baggattaway Featured in the Lax Journal again!

"Local author pens lax novel - In 1763, during the Native American uprising known as Pontiac’s Rebellion, two tribes staged a game of lacrosse as a deception to retake a fort from white settlers. Mike Philion, a middle school German teacher in Derry, N.H., learned of the story from a sculptor in Maine named Jud Hartmann, who had designed a piece commemorating the event.
